Our stay at The Carib House could not have been better! From the location of the property – amazing sunsets and close proximity to beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants – to the house itself which is enormous, beautifully designed and very well equipped, everything about this place is very special. We visited as a group of ten and the house was ideal for this number, it was never cramped and we didn’t run out of crockery/cutlery. Our hosts, Lou and Jonny, were able to source a chef on our first night so that would could relax straight into the holiday and her food was delicious! We made good use of the BBQ and the outdoor space, where we spent most of our time, and the terraces and pool were perfect in the heat. Lou and Jonny were exceptional hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful. Having lived on the island for over twenty years, have an encyclopaedic knowledge of restaurants, bars, beaches and activities in Antigua and are happy to make recommendations and reservations according to whenever takes your fancy. With their insider local info and connections I feel like we really got the most from our stay, including a brilliant day 4×4 buggying around the island, which is highly recommended. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Carib House to anyone looking for relaxing, private, authentic stay in Antigua, you’d be hard-pushed to find better!
