We spent a wonderful two weeks at The Carib House. Our party was made up of three toddlers from two families and a set of grandparents and the house was perfect for everyone. Lou was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for the children. She also made sure that we got fresh fish straight from the sea and told us all the best places to go and eat on the island.
There is a lovely maid who comes in every day who was brilliant with the children and kept everything clean and ship shape. The house itself has three bedrooms in the main part with another bedroom in a small cottage above the main house and one underneath the house. It has a large open plan living area with lots of books and games and a pool / table tennis table. There are plenty of areas to chill out meaning everyone had their own space when they needed it. The children loved the pool which has a brilliant shallow bit which they spent loads of time splashing around in. The views out to the sea are magical and we loved watching all the yachts coming and going. Falmouth is under a ten minute drive away so you do definitely need a car to get around and get to the shops. We loved the location however as it was close enough to be able to pop out quickly to the local supermarket but also secluded and sheltered giving us privacy and security. I would highly recommend The Carib House and we hope to go back ourselves very soon.
