Welcome To The Carib House

The Carib House is an airy luxurious Caribbean colonial style villa which can accommodate groups of up to 10 persons. Located on the south coast of Antigua, close to the entrance of Falmouth Harbour and only 5 minutes off the main road, it is perfect for a get-away holiday, honeymoon or a small conference. This vacation rental is also ideal for intimate wedding receptions or functions for 20-80 persons with spacious living and entertaining areas.

Villa Information

Master Bedroom

Decorated for comfort, the master bedroom is furnished with a large king size bed, large wicker chairs and ceiling fan. Air-conditioning has been installed to add to your comfort

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring natural stone double showers, a dressing room, and its own balcony offering spectacular views.

Main Entrance

A long gravel driveway winds up through the park and leads up to this grand entrance, featuring a beautiful date palm in the centre and banana palms to both sides.

Sitting area

Another spacious sitting is an outdoor setting of comfortable, large colonial style wicker furniture overlooking the pool area.

Steps up to Cottage

From the pool a winding stone path and steps lead to the guest cottage with stunning views across the swimming pool and the Caribbean Sea.

The Garden ApartmentStone staircase leads down to the completely separate garden apartment comprising of:

Outdoor covered sitting room and dining area
Airconditioned Bedroom with either wrought iron queen size bed or twin beds
En-suite shower room
Fully fitted Kitchen
All with the beautiful views over Falmouth Harbour, the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding luch tropical gardens.

Steps down to Garden Apartment

Directly below the main verandah is the garden apartment which can be accessed either directly from the car, or down these paved steps from the terrace level.

Dining areaWith fabulous views of the Caribbean Sea and Falmouth Harbour, the main dining area has comfortable seating for 10 around an Indonesian teak dining table overlooking the pool.

Family BathroomPerfectly appointed with solid mahogany vanity unit, terracotta tiled floor and high ceiling with fan, natural stone double with shower and toilet.

To Pool and GazeboThis area features a pool with a green stone island and a gazebo with bamboo couches and cushioned terraces, all surrounded by a natural stone patio-area totalling some 2000 square feet.

The Cottage BathroomThe cottage also has its open en-suite bathroom and dressing room and a wrap around verandah complete with comfortable chairs.

Even the loo has a view!

The CottageFully airconditioned, screened and furnished with a wrought iron king size four poster bed, mahogany bedside tables and a ceiling fan, this cottage is set above the pool.

Bedroom 5Within the main house and entered from the same level there are 3 bedrooms. All spacious, airy, air-conditioned and mosquito-screened with wooden louvered windows.

Setup with either a king size or twin beds, the handmade mahogany desk has views across to Pigeon beach on Falmouth Harbour beyond the bank of bougainvilleas.

Bedroom 4Within the main house and entered from the same level there are 3 bedrooms. All spacious, airy, air-conditioned and mosquito-screened with wooden louvered windows.

Setup with twin beds or a king size bed with mahogany wardrobes and ceiling fan.

Master BathroomIncluding a dressing room, this en-suite has a double basin vanity unit, open double with natural stone shower with beautiful hand made mahogany wooden chaise longue.

The KitchenThe open plan kitchen area comprises of stunning polished mahogany work surfaces, a central island with 4 inset burner, a large hotplate, stainless steel range with overhead pot hanger, and fruit and vegetable storage bins.

Equipped with all the essentials, it should have everything the discerning chef would need.

The cosy breakfast bar can seat up to 6 people or be used for buffets.

The adjoining utility room features 2 full size refridgerator/freezer units and washing machine.

Sitting and entertaining areaOn entering the main house there is a lush indoor sitting room with games area and open plan kitchen.

Turtle Bay Beach, located at the foot of the gardens is a wonderfully remote beach. It is located on a reef that protects it, providing paddling, snorkelling and beach combing. With views out to both Montserrat and Guadeloupe it is perfect for the early morning or evening stroll with the appropriate beverage in hand, and the kids will love collecting the shells and pebbles. Antigua has over 365 beaches, one for each day of the year and your host will provide details on which are best to visit based on the desires of your group. Beaches for sunbaking, windsurfing and kite surfing, with great restaurants or wildly remote, there is bound to be one or more that will match what you are ideally seeking. Explore Antigua and return to The Carib House at the end of each outing to relax poolside.

Whilst staying in Antigua there is plenty to do! Apart from the many beaches to explore you can do any of the following: boat excursions, boat rentals, massages and beauty treatments, cricket, diving, golf, gymnasium, horse riding, fishing, kayaking, kite surfing, sailing, swimming with stingrays, tennis and squash, buggy and other tours, windsurfing, yoga, zip-lines, paintballing, shooting and more! The key to your Caribbean holiday is to get away from the mundane chores that go with real life and experience all that the villa and the nearby areas have to offer.

Your visit to The Carib House is made special by your host and hostess. Prior to arrival all facets of your trip are covered.

From pre-provisioning, setting up bedrooms appropriately, booking additional staff (such as cooks and babysitters) to coordinating arrivals and transfers from the airport, and being directed to the villa where you will be met by your property manager and given a personalised tour of the villa.
